A. SUMMARY
 
Nias Community Development program were launched on May 8th, 2007, when 3 programs started running; Pre-school, English Training & Computer Training Center. The other programs were still under setting up and socialization stage and to be started some time later.

A Guest House construction was completed by end August and have been used for volunteers to support the program, including 3 medical students volunteers from UK.

Up to the writing of this report, all of eight programs are already in progress. During the latest monitoring conducted in Mid November 2007, the program showed successful signs that they are running well and bringing impacts to the communities. All stakeholders visited were supportive both at community level and at governmental officers’ supports. The staffs on the ground are doing tremendous job in implementation the program, ensuring the quality, as well as measuring the impact they made.
